System Requirements

The NexTalk-VM software can be used with any IBM PC or compatible (Minimum Pentium 100 CPU) computer.


System must have the following:

  • minimum 16 MB of RAM
  • minimum 10 MB of hard disk space for the application
  • Microsoft Windows 95/98 (recommended), ME/NT/2000/XP are supported IF the modem driver is compatible with that version of Windows.

NTS Overview

NTS is Network Telephony Services.

NTS is a client-server product for TCP/IP networks, including local and wide area networks and the Internet.

The NTS client software is installed on a networked computer at the desk top. This NTS software, called "NexTalk", connects to a NTS server. The NTS system then provides numerous telephony services to the desk top.

What telephony services does NTS provide?
The NTS system can provide numerous telephony services to an organization and users running the NexTalk software, as listed below:
